Express Yourself

The musical performance by Express Yourself received a standing ovation from the luncheon attendees. Led by Stan Strickland, co-executive director, who also provided some vocals, the group of teens and adults provided a wonderful energizer through the beating of drums and served as an inspiration for those serving and caring for youth. Express Yourself immerses young people from 17 Department of Mental Health residential and inpatient facilities into the creative world of music, dance and visual arts and empowers these youth with life changing results.
